The Castle site

Situated on a mound overlooking the town, the remains of this great medieval forteress is in the heart of a 26 hectares landscaped garden including a medieval garden where forgotten plants can be cultivated, a vineyard, a safari park and an amusement park for children. The French most wooded town

Epinal has an outstanding 3600 hectares property of magnificent various forest. And for the happiness of hikers 135 kilometers of way marked footpath by the Club Vosgien  line the forest of Epinal .

The Marina

The Marina is a true resort for relaxation with parks, play area for children where a cycle track starts from. In line with the marina, on the bank of the Moselle is a place called l’île-sous-la-Gosse with a picnic area under pergolas, a play area, pontoons and a little green amphitheatre.

A flowery Town

Epinal is also a town of gardens with its parks, its harmonious flower arrangements that can be seen at the roman house and at the roseraie, which gather more than 6000 of those. The  “parc du cours” is a beautiful landscaped garden aroud the edge of the Moselle with more than 80 000 summer blooming plants.

The Lake of Bouzey

This water site is a fisherman’s land of more than 100 hectares. It’s a place for leisure and relaxation where a  sanded beach was converted to allow swimming and also sail boarding.
